Anne Rose Blayk- Happy holidays back to both you and Elaine, Dave! re: "I, Sniper" - Stephen Hunter runs about a 80% HIT rate with his writing, which is AMAZING… … and BTW, I finally got around to listening to "Heaven Forbid" with an open mind, and wow, it really does rock! So I have to take my overly critical take on it back; several of the tracks are GREAT, e.g., "Power from Despair"… and there's really nothing wrong with the guitar tone. :-) hugs… AnneRose

Anne Rose Blayk- These days, I'm really INTO my new Gretsch… the tone is SO COOL! … but I strive for versatility, you know what I mean? Like doing Neil Young, where… oh yeah, Nils Lofgren is playing his Strat when he plays with Neil, so maybe I should take that back! … still, I love the Gretsch… all of a sudden, I can almost do Webb Wilder songs, because that TONE is just THERE!

Anne Rose Blayk- Like I just told my mom… I'm striving for a calm, contemplative mood here; sure, it's clear to me that I was poisoned by Alice Richardson with PCP back in 2003, and with help from collaborators at the Elmira Psychiatric Center, Dr. April Roberts and Dr. Tara Belsare, I was railroaded into the depths of the "mental" "health" system for 4 1/2 years with the ultimate intent of subjecting me to mis-medication as a "bipolar disorder" … but it's not my job to fix that: The authorities, one should think, would be interested in looking into it… or maybe some news outlets would be interested in this assertion? It's kind of dramatic, and buttressed by buttloads of documentation available to anyone online… But poisoning by "doctors"… people get all nervous over it! I'm not scared of the Cayuga Medical Center… I'm scared of the cretins at the OMH who allow this kind of shit to happen without any reaction… at all. It's disgusting. Do we have a government anymore, or just a bunch of mind-raping tools? Feh. Anyway, Facebook provides a really good platform for publicizing such a matter… should it begin to matter. (shrugs) thanks, Martha! anne/rose

Neal Graygood move me thinks
Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 4:04am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- I believe it's "timely," Neal… going over all of the records of my "treatment," and at long last having put together a timeline of critical events over the past 20 years… and thinking even further back… has lead to some ugly conclusions about the actions of others in my life, and the intentions that motivated them. I have really hated having to go into the mode of "assuming evil on the evidence of falsehood," and then having to thrash through the details until I find that no solid evidence exists that behaviors motivated by evil, rather than just ordinary human mischief… but it works. Knowing that others have tried, and continue to try, to get you dead, in jail, or in a mental hospital… as a certainty, not an hypothesis… well, it tends to concentrate your focus, no? I can't help but relate my own situtation to our situation in the broader world, since it seems that the Bad Guys who arranged for me to be poisoned with PCP and railroaded into the pits of the "mental" "health" system may have been motivated to fear and hate me by the writings I provided to the OMH in 1998… War sucks, but better war than suicide through inaction. Maybe we ought to be engaging in ANNULMENT on a broader scale? This one has been clinical… so far. I wanted a clean divorce with no hard feelings, but that's not what I got… because I was being offered a rotten deal from the outset? PS: The killer content is contained on Page 16 of the documents I submitted to the OMH… almost everything I wrote is touched by my loathing of the environmental destruction entailed by a "transportation system" that doesn't work because IT CAN'T WORK - cf. "Autokind vs. Mankind," a great book that is (of course) out of print? IT. CAN'T. WORK. … because automobiles require huge amounts of space to house them: it's just physically impossible to create a world in which everybody can use automobiles as the primary mode of transportation. And where we see the IMPOSSIBLE touted as "our only path to the future," what kind of future will we have? A future full of DEATH: "Intriguingly, it vas Adolf Hitler who constructed the first 'freeway' system, and who commissioned the Volkswagen, intending to make Germany 'a nation on wheels.' Will Hitler's posthumous revenge come, as pollution from the automobiles he promoted enshrouds the Earth in a lethal blanket, turning the planet into a global oven?" - March 23, 1989, Letter to the Editor of the Ithaca Journal. You know, old Adolf was one genocidal motherfucker - at the roots of the madness that was WWII, his lunatic levels of aggression and unchecked success with it inspired the Japanese to join in and launch WWII as our first truly global war… ASSUME EVIL I don't like the Napoleonic Code, but that's how it works, isn't it? ATTACK THE ROOTS, NOT THE BRANCHES http://www.badtriprecords.biz/bonzeblayk/testify/RRFU/1997-10-27%20KES-bb%20to%20Susan%20Heagney%207%20-%20KES-bb%20HYPERGRAPHIA.pdf

A funny thing I realized in the process of working this photoimage up… it's typical of mirror-image selfies, which always give you the left-right axis flipped (just like my "tayrot" throw of the Magician Reversed (Mirror Image) which may have given you all a misleading impression: I can't hold a camera nearly that well with my left hand; sorry, but I'm actually RIGHT-handed? thanks, and again, a million apologies for being confusing (again) - anne/rose https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGA9W_8S1jY

Anne Rose Blayk- … but … Dr. Stackman, our local neurologist, determined that I was LEFT-handed back in 1997… "Mr. Saunders is a 40 year old left handed caucasian male…" - Dr. Stackman ???? -> "BRAIN DAMAGE" - left-handedness is always a symptom related to damage to the left temporal lobe, which I clearly have (see "Geschwind Syndrome"). Nobody else has ever told me I'm left-handed… huh: I guess I just went along with "society" insisting on right-handedness, and dealt with it "somehow." … same thing with being neurologically intersexed, a "woman born transsexual" - I just "dealt with it."

Nerissa BelcherChanging a few words to make the acronym work Bonze has CHILL values: Courage Honesty (truth) Integrity (honor) Love (compassion) Looks (beauty)
Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 6:40am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- "Yes, but!" - they're not the same! Truth comes first. "Truth" is not at all the same thing as "honesty." It matters. A lot. Etc. etc., they're not really equivalent items as VALUES, which is why we should avoid "Acronymic Excess."
Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 8:14am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- The amusing thing is of course that the value-rific CHILL acronym is that it still holds true! Courage (beams) Honesty (reams) Integrity (smirks) Love (lusts) Looks (preens) Wow! My conclusion? "CHILL value assessment allows us to calculate an overall value for a study participant which we shall designate as the 'AQ factor,' where AQ is the 'Asshole Quotient.'" And I've got a sky-high AQ! BEAT THAT WITH A STICK Pretty nifty, huh? Do I get a gold star? (smirks)

Anne Rose Blayk- Lenora Quvus: You wouldn't believe that cats can wait, but in an infinite universe the most unlikely things are guaranteed to transpire… "somewhere." ♥ - b.a.r. Robert Sheckley on the "Theory of Search"… which wound up appearing in a journal of computing theory? I'm a fan of Sheckley's… so I read it in the original. Remember how I was talking about "theory"? This: _____ 'Consider it logically,' Valdez said. 'What is my problem? To find Cathy. What do I know about Cathy? Nothing.' 'That doesn't sound so good,' Marvin said. 'But it is only half of the problem. Granted that I know nothing about Cathy, what do I know about Finding ?' 'What?' Marvin asked. 'It happens that I know everything about Finding,' Valdez said triumphantly, gesturing with his graceful terracotta hands. 'For it happens that I am an expert in the Theory of Searches!' 'The what?' Marvin asked. 'The Theory of Searches!' Valdez said, a little less triumphantly. 'I see.' Marvin said, unimpressed. 'Well ... that's great, and I'm sure it's a very good theory. But if you don't know anything about Cathy, I don't see how any theory will help.' Valdez sighed, not unpleasantly, and touched his moustache with a puce-coloured hand. 'My friend, if you knew all about Cathy - her habits, friends, desires, dislikes, hopes, fears, dreams, intentions. and the like - do you think you would be able to find her?' 'I'm sure I could,' Marvin said. 'Even without knowing the Theory of Searches?' 'Yes.' 'Well then,' Valdez said, 'apply that same reasoning to the reverse condition. I know all there is to know about the Theory of Searches, and therefore I need to know nothing about Cathy.' 'Are you sure it's the same thing?' Marvin asked. 'It has to be. After all, an equation is an equation. Solving from one end may take longer than from the other end, but cannot affect the outcome. In fact, we are really quite fortunate to know nothing about Cathy. Specific data sometimes has a way of interfering with the well-wrought operation of a theory. But we shall suffer no such discomfiture in this instance.' They marched steadily upwards, across the steepening face of a mountain slope. A bitter wind screamed and buffeted at them, and patches of hoar-frost began to appear underfoot. Valdez talked about his researches into the Theory of Searches, citing the following typical cases: Hector looking for Lysander, Adam questing after Eve, Galahad reconnoitering for the Holy Grail, Fred C. Dobbs' seeking the Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Edwin Arlington Robinson's perquisitions for colloquial self-expression in a typically American milieu, Gordon Sly's investigations of Naiad McCarthy, energy's pursuit of entropy, God's hunt for man, and Yang's pursual of Yin. 'From these specifics,' Valdez said, 'we derive the general notion of Search and its most important corollaries.' Marvin was too miserable to answer. It had suddenly occurred to him that one could die in this chill and waterless wasteland. 'Amusingly enough,' Valdez said, 'the Theory of Searches forces upon us the immediate conclusion that nothing can be truly (or ideally) lost. Consider: for a thing to be lost, it would require a place to be lost in. But no such place can be found, since simple multiplicity carries no implication of qualitative differentiation. In Search terms, every place is like every other place. Therefore, we replace the concept Lost with the concept of indeterminate placement, which, of course, is susceptible to logico-mathematical analysis.' 'But if Cathy isn't really lost,' Marvin said, 'then we can't really find her.' 'That statement is true, as far as it goes,' Valdez said. 'But of course, it is merely Ideal notion, and of little value in this instance. For operational purposes we must modify the Theory of Searches. In fact, we must reverse the major premise of the theory and reaccept the original concepts of Lost and Found.' 'It sounds very complicated,' Marvin said. 'The complication is more apparent than real,' Valdez reassured him. 'An analysis of the problem yields the result. We take the proposition: "Marvin searches for Cathy." That seems fairly to describe our situation, does it not?' 'I think it does,' Marvin said cautiously. 'Well then, what does the statement imply?' 'It implies - it implies that I search for Cathy.' Valdez shook his nut-brown head in annoyance. 'Look deeper, my impatient young friend! Identity is not inference! The statement expresses the activity of your quest, and therefore implies the passivity of Cathy's state-of-being-lost. But this cannot be true. Her passivity is unacceptable, since ultimately one searches for oneself, and no one is exempt from that search. We must accept Cathy's search for you (herself), just as we accept your search for her (yourself). Thus we achieve our primary permutation: "Marvin searches for Cathy who searches for Marvin." ' 'Do you really think she's looking for me?' Marvin asked. 'Of course she is, whether she knows it or not. After all, she is a person in her own right; she cannot be considered an Object, a mere something-lost. We must grant her autonomy, and realize that if you find her, then, equally, she finds you.' 'I never thought of that.' Marvin said, 'Well, it's simple enough once you understand the theory,' Valdez said. 'Now, to ensure our success, we must decide upon the optimum form of Search. Obviously, if both of you are actively questing, your chances of finding each other are considerably lessened. Consider two people seeking one another up and down the endless crowded aisles of a great department store, and contrast that with the improved strategy of one seeking, and the other standing at a fixed position and waiting to be found. The mathematics are a little intricate, so you will just have to take my word for it. The best chance of you/her finding her/you will be for one to search, and the other to allow himself /herself to be searched for. Our deepest folk wisdom has always known this, of course.' 'So what do we do?' 'I have just told you!' Valdez cried. 'One must search, the other must wait. Since we have no control over Cathy's actions, we assume that she is following her instincts and looking for you. Therefore you must fight down your instincts and wait, thereby allowing her to find you.' 'All I do is wait?' 'That's right.' 'And you really think she'll find me?' 'I would stake my life on it.' _____ So I have; I've been waiting for 4 years, relying on what you might call the "DEVO Strategy of Girl U Want" and this Theory of Search - including the idea that knowledge of the details about a person matters less than ascertaining (in the almost-automatic screening out of "undesirables" by recourse to "excessive vibe" etc. on my end?†) the essential qualities I am seeking in a person - and less than half-hopeful that anything at all would ever develop. † C. Northcote Parkinson elaborates on this counter-intuitive process of screening job applicants by underselling in "Parkinson's Law": making the work look unpleasant or dangerous or undesirable helps eliminate the wannabes. Bonze Anne Rose Blayk - August 16, 2014 … or simply incomprehensible; incomprehensible works, too? And since Parkinson maintains that the ideal search reveals only one candidate, I guess it only proves that I'm a genius, assuming the candidate is up for the job of Prime Minister of Ruritania? LOL - b.a.r. - August 25, 2014

Daiyu HurstUgh, Bright's Disease. My g-g-grandfather, Lewis Squire Swarens died of that, too: "34 years, 6 months, and 9 days He joined the M. E. Church and was converted in March of 1879, and has been a member ever since. He was fully satisfied to die, and often expressed a desire to die. The last words that he spoke that could be understood was, 'I want to die.' "

Chris PentecostWell that's acute little mixer board you got there.
Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:07am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- Hi Chris! I like the Onyx boards, because they're 1) reasonably solid 2) sound pretty good 3) are designed with an eye to live/recording dual-use 4) and cheaply had on eBay … so, since I've got this major fetish for live recording and am working on my own "pursuit of shticklessness" in that realm, I wound up with four of them? The 1640 lives in its road case, waiting for God Knows What to eventuate? LOL PS: In this town… you -never- know what's gonna pop up. Or not. "It's My Life," and whether it sucks or not is one of those YMWV things: I kinda like it, myself? LOLOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82sQYN2mwb8
Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:21am EDT
Chris PentecostNot being obtuse, that is a sweet board, Does that little one have 4 band Perkins eq section with sweepable mids on every channel like the 1640?
Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:56am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- 3 band with sweepable mids. … I didn't think you were being obtuse; I just like to explain the rationale(s) motivating my preference for them? Basically: I like them and people generally admire the preamps.
Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 7:30pm EDT
Anne Rose BlaykAnd the live thing: Like early Sabbath or Budgie: live production as far as it can be attained… assuming there's actually a band, and generally a bunch of DIY stuff. (The band idea is more oriented around covers, cheap popmetal thrills, etc.)

Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 7:55am EDT
Joseph CoxI must counter this in the merging of the 70's cocaine Disco generation with the 80's heroin New Wave generation. God how did we ever survive this? I will admit Debbie looks fairly lucid here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpkSygbF4mU#t=69

Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 8:18am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- From my Autobiography, as offered to Linda Riley LCSW, Forensic Supervisor of the Tompkins County Mental Health Clinic back in 1998 (I never thought I'd be publishing this, but HERE I AM!): _____ 8. I had few friends from school in my high school years. I participated in clubs and so forth, e.g., was elected treasurer of the Honor Society, and got along with people OK, but my stance was basically one of disengagement. Sex, no, drugs, no, rock and roll, yes... however my tastes in music, influenced in part by my brother, belonged to a hard- core rock and roll "avant garde" which didn’t achieve widespread popularity until the 90’s (e.g., The Mothers of Invention, The Velvet Underground, the Stooges, the Dolls, and their eventual modern-day successors such as Nirvana and Green Day). My brother preceded me in school by 5 years in the same schools. His reputation was that of a person who’s very smart but also very weird, so this didn’t help me much. (My brother was also a rock critic, contributing to Rolling Stone, Creem, and other magazines, and is held by some to have invented the term "heavy metal," though proper credit for the term belongs to the Zeitgeist rather than any one individual.) ____ That's linked from my TESTIFY webpage in the document "1998-08-24 KES-bb - AUTOBIOGRAPHY and TREATMENT GOALS" I never did get into the drug culture much, aside from being a pothead - but it suits me fine: I'm not neurotypical, eh? These days, the Drug Culture is sponsored and heavily advertised by BigPharma, pushing pills that often fuck people up bigtime while evading responsibility for adverse consequences… all for the sake of inflating their bottom line? It's a sick culture, Joseph Cox; they pervert scientific research of the sake of profit, and I hate them for that. I got drafted into this stupid war, and I'm not all that happy about it, but as long as I'm standing I'm going to be fighting it. http://badtriprecords.biz/bonzeblayk/testify/
Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 8:21am EDT
Joseph CoxDon't get me started on the mental health system of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. There is a reason monies have been stripped from this quasi science field. Too many people who called themselves therapists with control issues and were nuttier than their patients all wrapped together tightly by the drug industry who was throwing grand parties. I've worked with many quacks in my lifetime, some caused more harm than good.

Anne Rose BlaykJoseph Cox - I hate to bring you up to date on our local "scene" in Ithaca like this, but it looks like we're looking at the 10's riding that Same Old Same Old Bad Horse to perdition. (shrugs) But actually this week's news is full of folks nabbed cooking up meth, and I'm starting to wonder how long it will be before submachine guns will have to be issued to the cops to even out the odds, with all the shootouts going on here… you'd think we've got a defective educational system, or something? Or something… yeah. http://www.ithaca.com/news/no-question-it-s-gotten-worse-a-look-inside-ithaca/article_3af5f2cc-f706-11e3-a266-001a4bcf887a.html

Anne Rose Blayk- THE CULPRIT A 4" length of lead weight which most likely "some-how or other" the psychopathic compulsive hoarder Alice Richardson managed to get down the drainpipe? She managed to cause an hellacious amount of damage through accidentally-on-purpose "accidents," so that's where my suspicions come to focus on the origin of the thing. Whatever: this is NOT a component of a septic system! MANY THANKS ARE DUE TO THE PARTIES WHO HELPED IDENTIFY THIS THING: • My mother, who told me "You really ought to have somebody look at that thing and tell you exactly what it is," • The guy at Lowe's who said, "Nope, that's not from a septic system," • Don Pharaoh, who said "Nope," • Mark Finnigan, who said "Nope," and • Suzan Cooke, Dan Aloi, and Erica Neil, who helped narrow down its identity following my query on FB as "a weight that gets used on fishing lures." • Partial credit goes out to Nicholas Calabria for being a smartass on the thread, if only because there aren't enough smartasses - a hypothesis on which I am leaning heavily in my hopes for having something resembling a future! Michael Earl Saundersyeah no shit. gold-album rock bands (almost any of them) of the last 10 years are the reference tool. "this doesn't hurt my head or my ears like the Green Day AMERICAN IDIOT album" that big-name mixer guy Chris Lord-Alge (on that album and dozens of others) is one of the most well known heinous audio war criminals in the brick-mastering sweepstakes. shit ain't right, man. the skye sweetnam album's 10 or 11/14ths that was cut in co-writer guitarist/bassist/drum machine-twiddler James Robertson's basement on the other hand has wonderful (if generic) guitar sounds everywhere, probalby similar to these two songs re compression -- or maybe not. the NFTBasement tracks feel like they have some "air" in them.

Meredith Bain~ Funny, Nicholas Cage is the first actor to appear on Miss Meredith's desktop wallpaper of fame/shame at work. This photo here from "Moonstruck" featuring the tough guy glove. I'm not really a romance movie fan at all but the glove, the glove. He's been there for a month now, replacing a pretty cool B&W Pete Townsend rocking out with a rockstar jump move in a pair of 8 hole Doc Martens and white pants. It really only seems fitting I kick him off tonight and replace him with WANTED for crimes against music B.A.R.BLAYK aka "Jean Lee Hooker." Metal Mike, don't get your pee hot because you've already made the cut 3Xs geez.

Michael Earl SaundersA: when the customers start throwing rocks at the screen and all go ask for a refund, mike. that's how the multiplex's work in the big city. enough peolpe throw a small rock (or large pebble), you all get your money back. SAFETY IN NUMBERS. as long as it's not Birmingham with the PD's attack dogs unleashed back in the MLK things-getting-ugly-down-here no-niggas-goin-to-eat-at-MY-lunch-counter Bama all-white-football-team days. ironically, the SEC (en masse) "discovered" the great black players (DEs that were huge and ran like deers) who'd been gonig to all the black colleges -- around 1970, and the SEC has never looked back, to the point where over the last 8 years of 8 straight BCS national titles games and 7 national championships -- the gap between the rules-the-earth almost-a-pro-leauge-minor-league SEC and the rest of the country,'s NCAA FB programs, will never ever ever be closed. why go the fuck to Texas or Ohio State much less USC, when you don't even have to leave your homeland in the South to work ass towards a possible pro NFL career? which lasts an average of 5 years tops, of course. and buklds character like fuck all nothing you've ever seen! ("skills learned in college?" stealing / selling laptops, taking handouts from rich white guys, date rape, where to get the best pot for free, annnnd screening everything senior year "through my future agent") fuck yeah.

Meredith Bainagree it was a great movie. To me, Cher is a better actress than singer although if a track of hers hits the airwaves I sing along. She was great in Mask and Witches of Eastwick. The rest of the mother, daughter, girlfriend cry movies I can't comment on. Didn't give them a chance. I only seem to tear up over amazing athletic feats and giant machinery (I teared up when I was pregnant watching a crane remove logs from a broken down logging truck. hahaha. what? Yea)
Monday, March 24, 2014 at 9:46am EDT
Michael Earl Saundersmy guess is that this is a death-spasm the world popular Time Line throws up when it's about to crash. (so i closed the second screen and sure enough, the spasm stopped temporarily). although, as proven earlier -- just one screen open with f/b only -- will FREEZE AND CRASH the PC., guaranteed (at variable times, maybe 30 minutes in, maybe 60 mintues in, and ealrier it seemed like only 15 mnutes into working nito the input screens here). go Zuck! break things twice if they aren't sufficiently busted the first time your coder noobs kicked them around! man someone's gonna make a fortune on those FUCK ZUCK t-shirts in about three years. it['s gonna be the "cool hi pthing" for over-50's to wear around the apartrment poolside.
Monday, March 24, 2014 at 9:46am EDT

Michael Earl Saundersif io started at it for 5 nminutes, it would come back to me what exactly needed to be done (per allocation made, using the NET ROYALTIES deriving frmo each of the five products inssued by Triple X, including the video True Documentary). because that's how the $6,585 (minus the UBX royalties.. which have a curious allocatoin that does somewhat resemble the actual "number of cuts" by each guitarist, but not quite -- that raw number of course would be 5 bonze / 20 PJ / 23 steve. later just "dubmed down" forever to a 25 / 50 / 25 split. as a compromise between different aloocation methods (that would have to be re-caculated everyu couplle eyars? no way in hell.) and the fact of "PJ's being way well off, financially" (he inherited his deceased parents' decent-sized one-level "ranch house" in suburban Ventura or near0-downtown ventura, same thing, long ago. WOW i should check Zillow for the 3974 Madison address...real estate there is nutsz., richfuck white town that it turned into. if it's a 2,000 sq ft, it's WAY over 500k market value -- IF the city of ventura has bounced back. which is maybe well has.

Meredith BainVick is on with the Jets??? Wow, what happened to Sanchez? I have an old Vick Falcon's jersey maybe you want to put a Samoans screener on it. Or not. Michael Earl Saundersyep Sanchez is gone, bye bye, released. Vick's injury record (uninterrupted basically) almost guaranteed that the uh, Jet's #1 pick last year will wind up a bust and a headcase. ha which is already. anyway, he sucked ass in college. what a stupid pick. geeeeeno your days are cursed and numbered. one of the late-night vioces on the ESPN radio tongith (after 3 straght hours of talk about the NCAA tourney), swore tahthe'd "seen /watched endless Jets games during Sanchez's carree" and he will or could be a dencet (like lower 1/3rd but far fomr th ebottom) QB1 somewhere else. "he's NOT that bad." (on a decent team). but YES. the Raiders locked up Matt Schwaab (from houston who obviously will pull Johnny Football as their #1 pick of the whole draft now) (Iwhch will be crazyentertaining, if nothing else. until he gets killed by a 260 lb NFL MLB, right). and Schwab (except for last year, when ie was just awful, and melted down like th eentire HOustn team) IS a decnet to even borderline-good pro QB. something the Raiders haven't had since a fwe of the CAroson Palmer games his 2nd year here, and before that....wow. Jason Campbell? you had to see it to believe it. don't even say the words "jaMarcus" around oakland or peolpe start throwing things.

Michael Earl Saundersit's a regular king's palace, all 950 sq feet plus a double-car garage and small-ish (but with grass when it rains enogh any year) back yard and front yard....to a Middle Ages cottage dweller it would seem unfathomably amazing beyond comprehension.

Michael Earl Saundersall that and a "gang neiborhood" too! a small one, that's been in these 3 x 3 blocks of neiborhood for ever. back to the korean war -- drug runners/dealers, no biggie. (the only crazy "meth house" was right across the street, early 90's only before i moved a mile south into this block 1996, so the longtime neighborhood dwellers tell me. we're getting more and more asians in the one-block over (that's less gang-heavy) too...i saw viets a year ago in one of the front yards. (hayward is 20% asian, 20 white, 40 hispanic of course, and only 10 black because they HATE those mexican cholos, something about how the uh, Nortenos (a half miel further north from here) do not gett along with the various black gangs (we have like zero crips and bloods in hayward...just 27 different fragmented small gangs that can't get their shit together...with the far "south end" of town by far the worst fo "public park" drug dealing after dark) (hayward being a good size L x W for a 150,000 population MAJOR suburb of the East Bay or entire Bay Area. per populatoin that is).

Michael Earl Saunderson FIREFOX - if you disable Java (via the add'ons), most of the Script error message go away forever i also changed FLASH to "ask first" so that every 5 minutes on Youtube, it will shut off automatically. and otherwise just be OFF. a big help for the memory since Flash is considered by teechies to be a "disfunctional piece of crap memory hog" (in other words, like Java). i do like that Firefox's "add ons" screen is really easy to pull up and easily make changes to (if you run into a Java heavy site that requires it to be temporarily changed to "ask first")

Michael Earl Saundersand now intern #6 will have to post up those last worksheets manual cost-accounting aloocations via freehand using felt pen...man,. pay that guy $10/hr (minimum wage0 retroactively for his shitwork! (year after year after year, since 1995 anyway). one or two hours per year...two actually. x 20 yeras = 40 x $10 =- some major "shitwork" moohah due here , buddy. IF RONN SPECER GETS A KICKBACK (for his work done "for free" at cost only, correct, on the Back From Samoa album -- which to this day never paid ONE CENT of "ROI" -- due - any normal business, the guy who "owned/ paid for the recordings" OWNS THE BUSINESS outright. Epitath Records, dude. Lookout Records, dude. (and a 1/2 of 1% per cent ROI, would only come to about $2,000 for all the money tied up in the red ink, i.e. "investment ", between oh, 1982 and the next 10 to 15 years (per CPI-U, which has been really small in the last decade as we nknow). fuck it, i should be a D I C K like those other guys in our band (the back from samoa crew), and withhold the $500 from gregg turner's next yearly royalties payout. "nice to hear you paid Ronn 500 out of your own pocket, gregg." "we're instreadaplying it to the $2,000 owed Bad Trip Records for their shitload on money invested in the label that took , oh THIRTY YEARS to finally recoup." bring it on, pal! i'm the Accounting Manager! NUMBERS. I"LL BURY YOUWITH NUMBERS> ha like this worksheet right here. in no actual business anywhere does a "sole investor" not get some sort of NOMINAL "ROI" if it's a "materially substantial" investment that eventuallygoes into the black. stock shares! i want some 1982-issued STOCK SHARES in Back From Samoa / Bad Trip (also note -- i did do a gregg turner Inside My Brain ROI sheet for the same 1/2 of 1% return over inflation, and it is a bit of small change up into the small three figures , correct.)

Michael Earl Saundersi had a nice generic 2-paragaph runon manon the street overview of Cher's film career thorugh Moonstruck. (after which she was sick for 3 years, then the AWFUL box office semi-bomb Mermaids with a wretched "rebel daugher" thehap0less Wynona Ryder) end of career, basically. but i counted 5 "really good movies io saw in the big screen theaters" counting four starrring roles and her supporting role in Silkwood. (5 and 10 Jimmy Dean the low-budget robert altman film that jump starteed her carrer like crazy, then Silkwood, the lame Witches of whate3ver, and Mask , and Suspect, and Moonstruck. great success rate on tho9se first six movies, definiitely).

Michael Earl Saundersif i wasn't a hard working newbie-carreesrist who no way was going to "wake the fuck up" at some insane saturday morning time like 6am -- that meathook picture does not exist! believe me not even a $50 bill as bribe, could have got my hard working Commuinity Hospital of North Hollywood "Hosptial Controller" ass out of bed before almsot noon out at 14922 Bassett St. i mean...man...consider the facts...come monday morning, i had yet another week of brutal 5-mile drives down Vanowen Blvd to get to woik. cmopared to the prevous year where i could just wakl two blocks from 12926 Kittridge from the orignal "Dave and Mike house." life was getting tough, man. but what the jobs (all of them) lacked in ANY real "commute grind" (14 years of BART to a shuttle and reading the newspaper(s) for the round trip each way, does not qualify even if it takes 50 min grand total, with hitting the "train times" right on the dot comiong and going) -- they more than made up for in 1978 (the NCR machine frmo hell) , 1980 (the fucked up $40,000 out of balance scrambled accounting general ledger from hell, even if on the IBM -34 computerized system, custommized G/L actually), and hhere we go, omg -- 1984-85 (the Republic Health Care wahoos from texas who bought Hayward Vesper Hoppital, gave me a "different job title" and cut my pay by $8,000 -- from 32k to 24k, even though it was EXACTLY the same job ), 1985 -1987 at Providence definitely, and then EVERY year but 1997 at the seven years of post-merger 2/28/1992 (the merger date() hell at the behemoth 550 bed Summit Medical Center post-merger. let's see that 1, plus 1 plus 1, plus 2, plus 6 = yep 11 years out of 21 of FTE work, that definitley qualified as either "insanely stressful" (1980-81, and the first year of 1978 since i was flying on sheer knock-on-wood youthful momentum which always includes ignorance --

Michael Earl Saundersto wit, with the hosiptal administrator (dennis F) and the Medciare auditor staring at me (the admin had been too busy playing weekend volleyball with his beach bunnie female friends to work out "hand signals" for me, for both of our's first Medicare audi ever) -- (auditor) Q: "what are these $2,000 montly checks for to this name?" (me) A: "oh, that's the owner's brother! we send him one every month out of accounts payable!" (and there's no invoice attached, not even a "for services rendered"). REIMBURSEMENT (of expense) DENIED! the adminstrator who should have tipped me off or reminded me, that is, on how Medi-Cal and Medicare reimbursemtn works -- they tend to frown on handouts to relatives who aren't even on the payroll nor send over an invoice for their monthly handout -- "oh man, promise me never to do that again." yes. JUST PLAY DUMB AND SAY NOTHING. pretend you're a drumer. half-deaf, definitely dumb, and even half into the stupipd zsone. my two most favorite sub-idiot quotes from our own band's drummer: "PHds....know nothing." "I hate worksheets" (having never read one in his life, including 20 years of band royalties and monies distributed, all sent with a worksheet attached) oh , and "fuck you, you've got millions" and "it's not my fault you don't have health insurance" (me only having paid full out-of pocket to Kaiser for my card since march 1999 upon existing the FTE world forever) this commment when i was having a big problem (on a tiny fucked up irregularly sized satage...way irregular, crazy angle jutting backfrom the center of the front, radically different in its two diffrect direftons) creating an "exit route" to move back thorugh, when the drunk fat fucks at the 21+ gig were guarantted to start falling into the center of the 2-foot (literally) non-elevated stage. also -- "i don't have time to read your e-mails" (that are about band business of varous degrees of importance) dude's just mad at the world because his middle-of-nowhere UNincorporated area he lives in....will NEVER get "broadband." yep they're stuck with prehistoric dial-up forever. (and can't pull up the facebook band page, like ever, obviously. at home that is). and peeps accuse me of being the band neanderthal! uh uh no! i got crazy got normal-quality broadband coutesy ...THE AT&T PEOPLE! (rolled onto my phone bill)_. which of course was $10/mo, then $12/mo the next year, then $15/mon, and five? six? years later...six years on, it's been up to $28/mo the last two years. BOOOOOOO LAME. running our pho9ne company like a sneaky "loss leader" sale where the advertised product will disappear two minutes before you get there so's they can try and sell you the 6 foot TV screen, not the 32" that you wanted.

The industrial, technological and fine arts... working with wood, metal, fabric, electricity, the brush and quill (and later the mouse and keyboard." ... I still haven't decided. I'm only now getting to work on the central issue of my life.... No small wonder. Same here, I enjoy *creating* - I didn't know what it was then - but dysphoria shut that down in Junior High. Anne Rose Blayk- Sadly, Thomas, for those who give a shit… this disease has been progressing for some time. Perhaps the most tragic aspect of the syndrome is that sufferers fancy they are "enjoying themselves," and consequently… do not give a shit about their lamentable condition, however ridiculous they may appear to the average voter. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151292130162954&set=t.707147953&type=3&theater

Daiyu HurstMy eyes kept alternating between your smile and that thing that looks like the bombs we dropped on the Jerrys... ;)
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:09am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- Um, "bomb"? Am I missing something in my own photograph? What? - My apologies if I'm a bit slow on the uptake; I am currently being subject to a barrage of abuse on one of Zoe Ellen Brain's threads from a person who took offense to my using the term "ableist" in quotation marks. Huh: it appears I am a "condescending twunt"? I guess I'll learn to live with it, eh, Daiyu? _____ "condescending twunt" - damn, I had to look that up! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=twunt
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:13am EDT
Anne Rose BlaykAh… my belly fat? ;-)
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:19am EDT
Daiyu HurstOk pic is blurry enough I can't be sure, but I'm referring to what looks like a blunt in your right hand. Kinda pinrollish, but still fatter in the middle than the ends. Bah. All images are Rorshach ink blots.

Anne Rose BlaykAha! What I'm holding up in my hand, in VICTORY! THAT is the winning piece of the turkey's wishbone!

Daiyu HurstIf you see a gray, cantelope-sized walnut-shaped thing hopping around loose, its my brain trying to find a new host.
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:29am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- It seems like I have had the same kind of issue, Daiyu! "I lost my mind - but I found a new one that works even better!" - barmy annie blayk PS: Mine's full already, and I have hung a "PREOCCUPIED" sign on it, so you're going to have to be looking somewhere else… sorry!
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:34am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- PS: This very image is "symbolic" of my condition of PREOCCUPATION, eh? -> synecdoche -> metaphor -> "implications" (or something like that)
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:37am EDT
Daiyu Hurst"Are you preoccupied?" "Well, I'm certainly engaging in preoccupation" Anyway, I should have realized I was commenting on a post someone necro'd.
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:42am EDT
Anne Rose BlaykMe! I necro'd the thing! Why? "Preoccupation" THAT'S WHY - lol PS: Besides, I like to rotate my images, so people I know will notice them and go "Like, Like, Like!"
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:03am EDT
Daiyu HurstLol, I'll have to try that sometime!

Anne Rose BlaykDEAR MARTHA: I prefer "spectacular"? … fabulous is sooo "gay", and besides, fables are for children!† HUGS ANYWAY and ♥♥♥ to you, dear… ;-) sincerely, - bonzie anne PS: If I am to be considered "gay", it's the condition known as "transsexualism qua 'gay, gay, gay'", or maybe "effervescently joyful (when not bitchy)". † ONCE AGAIN props to Ayn Rand for inspiring me to quote myself … incessantly: _____ Wow, you're making a fundamental mistake here, Nerissa Belcher! I, Bonze Anne Rose Blayk, am not "fabulous", and would not dream of it… "fabulous" is some kind of "gay thing", and I'm a serious comedienne! So, "spectacular" is what you're looking at: SPECTACULAR. HINT: Hot Pink Unicorns enjoying High Tea drawn from The Great Teapot are "fabulous". Supernovae are… "spectacular"!

Anne Rose Blayk- Thanks Kim, I'm well aware of that… This was the first time I was being given shit as opposed sharing "WTF!" kind of friendly interactions - about which I could hardly complain, right? This was "special"… I view intolerance in the guise of "friendly advice" which one is supposed to "take to heart" as a grievous offense against the cosmpolitan nature of our community. And besides, I'm all about BLOWING SHIT UP — POMOSTYLE anyway, and it looks like I ain't alone in that, given our performance on the floor last week to the strains of Fester breaking down the walls with DIRTY DEEDS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH8N4s3pat0 HUGS! - bonzie anne PS: gossip is cheap, who can care? - this town is full of gossip… i don't mind honest questions from anybody, but i do mind when "questions" come wrapped in judgment already.

PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THIS DOOR It's funny how labeling things clarifies the interpretation -post hoc-, when I was not consciously aware of the idea(s) behind an "artistic impulse"…

Anne Rose Blayk- Diana - "nahhhht exactly…" I'll quote myself, from a blog post on a blog vastly famous for the "liveliness" of its "discourse"… 'Tis Himself, OM #296: "Your concern is noted." BARB: Thank you, Mr. Himself, for your admirable restraint in characterizing my (modest) protest, and avoiding categorizing me directly as an instance of that... -shudder- ... other species. Well-Known Facts are they, that they dwell in suburban basements, are hopelessly dim, intractable to all educational efforts, and invariably ugly. As a concern-ogress-aspirant†, I dwell in a south-facing second-story studio well-illuminated by natural light even in the depths of winter, might or might not be Smarter Than You Are™, occasionally assent to Ineluctable Truths when fashionably framed, and when perceived in a dim light might even be "attractive enough"... as long as no account is taken of my hideous ideological formlessness. And, oh yes... Anne Rose Blayk- It's my style of… "comedic enterprise", or however you want to frame it? "Forget it, Jake… it's Pharyngula." (Maybe you're not familiar with PZ Myer's evolutionary theoretic/atheist/super-liberal blog, which regularly featured scathing interactions (some of which were really amusing?, others not!)… I occasionally tried to argue with those folks when they would go overboard with socialist fancies, but would regularly get reamed out (I'm a libertarian, a stance for which they have no respect: oddly, super-liberals devoutly dubious that there exists a Supreme Being (√) are curiously susceptible to the notion that there is this thing called "The Social Contract", which nobody has ever seen - or signed? - but delivers us all into peonage and into a warmer, cuddlier future run by… ?)

It's a funny video, but not?, and I have to look over it some more to see whether to work more on it or scotch it… lord, it's 16 minutes long! "I do go on!" It's got a "killer ending"… it's about The Silence of the Lambs, and the outtakes from the movie… and what's in the book, which is a whole 'nother story.

Marea HallYour cat is really cute!
Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10:43pm EST
Anne Rose Blayk- Marea - Minx does "fur" in almost all of my shoots. She also does "claws", which is not always fun for me, but are especially not fun for mice (and I approve, particularly because she's now delivering clean kills: I heartily dislike sadism). She was providing her usual assistance in this session - but feeling ungenerous, I cut her out of the frame (and residuals likewise: I can't afford to up her rations right now!)… well, mostly, because she IS visible in the mirror, obscured by my leg? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150275644027954&set=a.427053897953.218998.707147953&type=3&theater Erica Neil - They're both 1920x1080 monitors… I'm blocking most of the one on the right with my body? It's a video about video, so I positioned myself so I could bring up the clips on my primary monitor… The one on the left is an HPZR22W, a high-fidelity monitor WHICH I TOTALLY LOVE, while the one on the right is a ASUS VH238H which is "OK, I guess". I used to have dual Hitachi Superscan Elite 21" CRT monitors, just for computer programming. but I had to upgrade to 1) do HD video and 2) eliminate EMI problems with my audio gear… Doing A/V? GOTTA HAVE 'EM.

Barbara Jean KazyakaHow was the Band???
Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:17am EST
Anne Rose Blayk- The Destination? It was "a routine show" for the band… ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. IMO, there are at least four musical geniuses in the band… the girl singer is great, but I'm never quite sure how to distinguish genius musicality in a singer from a beautiful vocal quality, Little Joe is "at least" a genius bandleader in addition to being an excellent keyboard player and singer… and I can't evaluate the three horn players? "They sound pretty good to me!" lol The primary sax player did a great, amazing jazz solo at one point. Yeah, he too is pretty much a genius, I guess.-) PS: It was too crowded (for me) to dance properly: - .5 bummer (for me).

Anne Rose Blayk- Nerissa - HELL AND DAMNATION - I DO look like a diaphragm - in the thumbnail! (simmers) "Why are these thumbnail images so TINY? ! This isn't nearly the size of a thumbnail… I'LL SUE!" Cary Lenehan - RROSE SÉLAVY LIVES + "Holy Shit!" - from Wikipedia: "At about this time [1913, at the age of 26], Duchamp read Max Stirner's philosophical tract, The Ego and Its Own, the study of which he considered another turning point in his artistic and intellectual development. He called it '...a remarkable book ... which advances no formal theories, but just keeps saying that the ego is always there in everything.'" I read Stirner at the age of 15, which I am thinking gave me a headstart in "development" over Mme Sélavy? Since, after all, she's "reading it wrong"… to condense in an inappropriate fashion, SOMEBODY'S ego is always there in everything, if not yours, someone else's… and of what does that ego consist? "Nothing". Just nothing, the creative void: from my point of view, mirroring the nature of the cosmos, which is arguably an admirable goal (see "Leisure: The Basis of Culture" for a groundpoint). It may be a little bit chaotic, but just a little; as we have learned through scientific inquiry… many outcomes in life are highly predictable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcel_Duchamp

Anne Rose Blayk- Nope. Truth is, I'm not the reincarnation of Rrose. From one of the reviews on Google Books: "Brilliant, obtuse, and border line insane. I would love to have spent a few drunken nights talking with this unique writer." It only reads as "border line insane" because few of us are willing to admit that we are slaves to our heritage: "gene machines" become "meme machines". We're all slaves. It's just the way we are? … but you can loosen the bonds imposed by blind adherence to "ideals" by acknowledging this truth, and so not wind up as a witless zombie. http://archive.org/details/theegoandhisown34580gut

James DuganI'm still trying to absorb life in general, Bonze - I know WHAT I believe, not necessarily where it fits. I'd willingly admit I'm 2 inches deep and a mile wide. From the Ashes? Sometimes, I sure feel that way - but my 'problem' is way more simple (so far) compared to some. I feel like I've been asleep for 10-15 years, and just woke up.... Once my real hair is long as 'joey's' there, I'll post a 'real' pic - year or two maybe....

Anne Rose Blayk- Erica … nifty! Back when I was first coming out publicly, I indulged my ironic tendencies in a rather bizarre interplay between "Kevin Eric Saunders a/k/a bonze blayk" and "Anne Rose Blayk" in a MySpace Music Forum called "What did I do to piss off Metal Mike?" - he's my brother? One participant decided that what he was witnessing was a spat pursuant to a breakup… and posted this Whitesnake video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3MXiTeH_Pg
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 8:40pm EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- And… to express my feelings on the subject? I responded: _____ Kevin Eric Saunders a/k/a bonze blayk Tuesday, April 13, 2010 9:48 PM Noooo, quite... quite wrong. Annie and I are inseparable, in the literal meaning of the word. Really, I'm just her shadow. In the depths of the night, I disappeared; she remained... though you could no longer see her. Don't think about it, and you will know that there are no paradoxies involved here. Together we're just manifestations of the Universal Wave Function, like all the bits of all the worlds we together do (or do not) perceive, most mysterious, weaving in and out of realities, transposing, intermingling, shifting, and remaining. Forever. "All things recur eternally, and we ourselves too; and that we have already existed an eternal number of times, and all things with us." The Birth Of Tragedy -- Friederich Nietzsche http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Wave_Function ______ In transition… I'm not giving up on anything. I'm just doing my best to make sure that people no longer mistake that shadow, which is as much a product of their own projections and fears, along with assumptions about what a person assigned as a male at birth is SUPPOSED to be. … the bizarre part is that I'm having to be more assertive than I've ever wanted to be in order to do this, because our culture is so hostile to the truths that are expressed in the identifies of transgendered women.

James DuganSo - I'm not the only one to find Bonze a bit byzantine? Good, I thought I was missing something. :D FWIW, I don't find either one of you 'mediocre'... :) You 'struggle' because you are outside what some think of as 'normal'. In engineering, the higher the pressure there is, the more important integrity is - society exerts pressure. I see you both as seeing clearer than most - because you stand outside the mundane. I merely stand on the edge....
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 9:15pm EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- "Baroque" is the preferred term, James… "The term Baroque probably ultimately derived from the Italian word barocco, which was a term used by philosophers during the Middle Ages to describe an obstacle in schematic logic. Subsequently the word came to denote any contorted idea or involuted process of thought." Sometimes such processes are a necessity if one wishes to surmount those barriers. Moreover… the most difficult barriers are those we impose on ourselves by refusing to reflect deeply on multiple perspectives on a topic… and the potential for interactions between them. It's a genuine PITA taking other people seriously.
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 10:18pm EDT
James Dugan<chuckle> I suppose that is a better word....now that I know the entymology of it. People take their tiny little islands of what they see as "reasonable" and NEVER leave there - setting up walls to protect their pre-concieved notions. I don't know whether or not setting up for a siege is even worth the trouble, honestly. I know I did for years - with always this 'something' going on in the background - something that scared me to think about, honestly. Once I discovered my island was a small piece of dry land in a forest, and there was a meadow next door - well - the door came open on MY closet. Still scares the hell outta me. ...where'd all this depth come from? I don't really remember being able to think like this before. Multiple angles on a single idea? ALMOST able to do that more than a few times a day now. Yeah - I knew what the thing with three 'handles' is supposed to be - sort of clumsy looking.
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 10:47pm EDT
James DuganHere's a poser - if one is more pre-disposed to orient more than one way, does that contribute to ones ability to see multiple sides of an argument I wonder?
Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 10:59pm EDT
Cary LenehanDefinitely baroque rather than byzantine (says the byzantine).
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 3:22am EDT
James Dugan:) Just so that I'm not misunderstood... Definition of BYZANTINE 1: of, relating to, or characteristic of the ancient city of Byzantium 2: of, relating to, or having the characteristics of a style of architecture developed in the Byzantine Empire especially in the fifth and sixth centuries featuring the dome carried on pendentives over a square and incrustation with marble veneering and with colored mosaics on grounds of gold 3: of or relating to the churches using a traditional Greek rite and subject to Eastern canon law 4often not capitalized a : of, relating to, or characterized by a devious and usually surreptitious manner of operation <a Byzantine power struggle> b : intricately involved : labyrinthine <rules of Byzantine complexity> ...I was using the last... I don't know Bonze's ancestral extraction. :D
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 8:23am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- Cary Lenehan - "Definitely baroque rather than byzantine (says the byzantine)." (nods) "Thank you, Baron, for your kind remark." ;-) … snippets from the Wikipedia article on Baroque… "In informal usage, the word baroque can simply mean that something is "elaborate", with many details…" … "In modern usage, the term "Baroque" may still be used, usually pejoratively, describing works of art, craft, or design that are thought to have excessive ornamentation or complexity of line, or, as a synonym for "Byzantine", to describe literature, computer software, contracts, or laws that are thought to be excessively complex, indirect, or obscure in language, to the extent of concealing or confusing their meaning." Some people like to make things complicated in order to inflict confusion on others. On the other hand… some people are addicted to simplicity for the sake of avoiding awareness that "some problems are extraordinarily complex"… like in, say, espionage? On the gripping hand, some people have taken one too many shocks to the left temporal lobe and consequently obsess over details that may not even matter; YMWV. ;-) "Baroque is a style of unity imposed upon rich, heavy detail." - Architecture "Baroque style featured 'exaggerated lighting, intense emotions, release from restraint, and even a kind of artistic sensationalism'." - Painting "St. Theresa's face reflects not the anticipation of ecstasy, but her current fulfillment.… This is widely considered the genius of Baroque, although this mix of religious and erotic imagery was extremely offensive in the context of neoclassical restraint. " … "mix of religious and erotic imagery … " √ ;-) ON THE OTHER HAND my favorite painter is Vermeer, and my favorite styles of architecture are Art Deco and Bauhaus/modernist for residences. "Go figure." … my counterpart Sue is the one whose favorite period is the Baroque… I feel like it's overdone? But I do tend to -think- that way. That's probably due to brain damage, which is also why I kind of identify, just a bit, with Bear's character in "/" - Seefa Schnee… just the right amount of brain damage might do your overall capabilities a world of good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baroque
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 9:41am EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- James - "if one is more pre-disposed to orient more than one way, does that contribute to ones ability to see multiple sides of an argument?" I tend to think that in my own case, being stuck on the farther side of an "excluded middle" tended to make me more flexible intellectually? I have an intrinsic mistrust of stark dichotomies, and think pure binaristic thinking is wrong more often than not.
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 9:52am EDT
Cary LenehanOne of the few characteristics I would ascribe is iconoclasm - when it suits.
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:37am EDT
James Dugan"I have an intrinsic mistrust of stark dichotomies, and think pure binaristic thinking is wrong more often than not." ..the further away I get from my 'causal event', the more I slide towards that point of view. For years, I tried to play 'black and white' with all things - that works SOME times, but honestly not that often - certainly not often enough to satisfy the 'military engineer' mindset that I relied on for so long. Humans are simply too complex to work that way except in the most dire psychopathic cases. The more is known about someone , the more details 'pop' out, and the harder it is to squeeze them all into a coherent whole. The same can be said of many things. Perhaps, Baroque and Byzantine are near-antonyms of each other. Baroque being the intent of forcing uniformity out of disparate facts, and byzantine being the intent of forcing needless complications upon something simple..... I try to simplify things, doesn't always work.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObiEQdh72Us
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 6:31pm EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- "Baroque… forcing uniformity out disparate facts…" Well, no; it's a design principle. One uses an enormous range of design elements, extremely ornate, vivid, and dramatic, and draws them together into a whole… If it's done right, it has great impact. Well, that's what they say; I think it's kind of overdone? LOL That's art. I think that if you're trying to make sense out of life, as a whole, the logics and presentation involved will be… baroque. Of necessity.
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 7:37pm EDT
James DuganWhere - in engineering - if you try to make it too complicated - it'll easily be br-oke.... :D
Monday, October 1, 2012 at 7:44pm EDT
James DuganYes - I got that it's a design principle. Hmmm - God being a Baroque Artist specializing in biology is an interesting idea.... But when we're talking people - it's not - it's an interpretation of composition....

Been on it since - early April? A bit weepy at times, but I'd rather have that than feel nothing. As to the symbol - perhaps a square - each side color coded to the person that wears/bears it. <We are a persecuted minority, may as well use irony to accentuate it to our political advantage> - 4 sides to represent: - Identity - pink to blue - across the top, I'd be a bluish purple (MOSTLY male, shifts though, so...) - Attraction - pink to blue - right side, I'd be (pinkish purple - MOSTLY women, shifts though, so...) - Expression - pink to blue - left side (eventually purple - androgynous) - Sex - pink to blue - on the bottom <!> - (Blue - for now) Perhaps a cross or arrow coming from the bottom.

Paul BrodskyGreat pic, but, huh?
Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 1:46pm EDT
Anne Rose Blayk- Inflicting "huh?" on innocent bystanders is pretty much my primary aim as a musically-inclined comedienne, Paul! I think I'm not flattering myself any more than usual - which is "a lot" - when I say I'm pretty damned good at it. PS: That's Anday a/k/a Poppa Wheelie on the left; my name started out initially as "Kevin Eric Saunders a/k/a bonze blayk!" so the exclamation point is not exactly new - just the abbreviation "BAR-B!" for "B.A.R.BLAYK", right? PPS: If you're not confused, I'm falling down on the job, which is to confront whatever audience is in front of me at any given moment with the Big Questions in life… cf. my namesakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw-TVrR8wZc (+ lol & ???)

Anne Rose Blayk- Erica - I'm happy you say you're thinking about singing! w/r/t soprano, there is no hope for me; my head voice peaks out somewhere around D5 (maybe practice will help?). And COUNT MY BLESSINGS hit E2 quite easily. SIGH … I have gotten some laughs by sharing my musings on my potential in performing Barry White covers, which is really, exactly, that dream which enchants every trans woman? (eyeroll) Perhaps it's just as well my history allows me no hope of ever successfully passing as one born 100% female; it would require a hell of a lot of work on my part to do so!

John McArdleI think I found it? (and) Even though I have no degrees in psychology or anything. Just life experiences, of which some are very bizarre with unbelievable levels of adversiy at times. I think I can solve the riddle so to speak but don't dare speak of it here. Apparently there is an illusion area of psyche which could and may in fact be another actual REAL dimension: SEE my childhood in Northern Ireland for example: Ten Eleven year old american kid thrust into another dimension 4th grade 1964-65 Keady County Armagh Northern Ireland. I'm researching some of your stuff Bonze Anne and I'm seeing things maybe others do not see. You need a true friend in life you can confide in with trust, people are so superficial and phoney and put up big phasads [They can't help you] http://www.armandkerry.com/2011/03/wishdas-by-lurleen.html I'm paying attention with keen interest and trying to understand. There are other similar situations now occuring with others I know and myself. I find myself being drawn into intense retrospect/introspection to find my own answer. Like some ametuer who should never understand or find the answer to something so profound. I'm even having trouble finding the words to explain or define what I'm discovering? I applaud your convictions and have empathy. Most of us are truly searching for the "alleged" meaning of life if you will? Never give in or up to mediocrity, sucess is built on a mountain of failures. Something along these lines. I wish I could be more eloquent about it? I also am discoving things about myself I never knew P.A.P. having to do with a childhood head injury. Which can have some very strange effects later in life. My shrinks were also inadequate and some diagnosis are from back in the 1800's or something and definitely incorrect. Also having discovered through sheer luck some things that most would never comprehend. Fortunately you are so intelligent you can self diagnose to some degree and even show the professionals their inadequacys. I will leave you with some hard earned levity "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" SEGA! I was using that for a mantra for awhile, since everything else did not make any sense. It was then I realized I would have to join the present consumer based petro-chemical nuclear Industrial age wholeheartedly even as diabolical as it is. Simply for survival.

Also there is a good chance your good quality computer was built in the Republic of Ireland rather than the United States of America. Why does this page insist on calling itself "global" as it is so Americana-centric, unless USA is your definition of global." ? Silly stuff I'm copying and pasting please place no regard on any of this as far as I'm concerned.

I was in the process of applying for entry into grad school at SUNY Binghamton in their UNIQUE program in General Systems Theory at the time I was offered, and accepted, the below-entry-level job as a Macintosh network applications programmer by Dick Cogger at Cornell, developing the application that ultimately became COMET and is now dataComet… Yes, it's true: I was seeking to become… a semiotician. Anne Rose BlaykI was struck by this drawing the first time I saw it in the 3rd Hellsing book: Kouta Hirano has got a major military fetish thang going on… it struck me as very detailed, and probably accurate (zero experience on my hands, thank you very much, and no doubt a much happier person for it). I wish I could identify the U.N.I.T.A. engagement Pip (purportedly) participated in… he is a relatively decent fellow, a merc through family tradition (FWIW)… but still mercs are so often party to "unpleasant business". (*sigh*) A somewhat similar drawing of Captain (Waffen SS) sitting against a wall with an MG30 by his side, looking like he's been through a bit of work appears much later in the series… with the date clearly indicating that that "work" was the slaughter at Malmedy, Normandy, July (?) 1945. (Um, yeah, I guess it's pretty clear that he is Not One Of The Nice Guys?)

Anne Rose BlaykAnd the sawed-off 12ga. on the hip: a nice touch: IT ALWAYS WORKS … and there is a pleasing symmetry about it all: my own gear, both musical and critical, is eclectic and highly individualized — albeit mass-produced,— and I strive to ensure that IT ALWAYS WORKS

Cary LenehanLet us go with fairly accurate. :-)

Anne Rose Blayk- Cary Lenehan: Believe It Or Not! — My name, "B.A.R." Blayk was just… a lucky accident? The name just… evolved! Over a period of 22 years! (1974-1991-1993-1995… congealing in 1996… unconsciously! This coincidence didn't hit me until last year, since I've been used to lower-casing my entire name.) I wrote the whole thing up to share with my mother Jean, who remains in a state of (almost global) puzzlement over all this… but is now calling me "bonzie" .-) YAY MOM! For those who are unfamiliar with the history of small-arms technology, and specifically the genius of John Browning: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B.A.R. "As one Special Forces sergeant declared, "Many times since my three tours of duty in Vietnam I have thanked God for . . . having a BAR that actually worked, as opposed to the jamming M16. . . We had a lot of Viet Cong infiltrators in all our [Special Forces] camps, who would steal weapons every chance they got. Needless to say, the most popular weapon to steal was the venerable old BAR.'" "Venerable"… SOUNDS GOOD TO ME

Anne Rose BlaykAnd just to finish spelling all of this out (symbolically, right? We're talking about symbolism here, which differs from IRL vampirism... .-) Since I can hardly expect casual readers to immerse themselves in the HELLSING milieu and spend huge amounts of their time failing to decode all of this without Pointing and Denoting: That's just how Pip winds up… "enmirroraged". ABOLISHING UNDEAD NAZIS: - Anti-Life? √ - Anti-Mind? √ "It's not just a job… it's an adventure." SYMBOLICALLY … this fictional relationship is an accurate representation of my relationship with Susan. (Well, but for the chastity! - but note: I respected her … "virgin nature".) Naturally, all my endeavors to Abolish Undead Nazis are to be enacted in the arena of artistic, intellectual, and social conflict… this is SYMBOLIC. "INFLICT THINE ENEMIES … WITH FUN!" … FTW! Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 10:08am EDT
Anne Rose BlaykIndeed it is an "interesting document", Randell! The part that really got to me was... being labelled as "he/she". Well, technically, this is "misgendering", since I'm gendered female (but sexed male—there is a distinction, which is why sexual reassignment is sometimes essential!)... but damn, I still find it a kind-of-flattering (?) legal acknowledgment of... an intermediate status. And the rest of it... I'm amazed, because the OMH didn't just fail to object: they -formally stated- that they had no objection! WOWOWOW

Dick DestinyI'll take your word for it. I like my Super Champ XD. However, it's worth mention it's made-in-China and as such developed a mysterious fault after three years in the chip part of it. On start, something would not initialize and the amp would not emit any sound. This happened frequently but was not reproducible by any graspable set of conditions. It was sent to GC, then another shop, where it worked until they gave it back to me, at which point I fired it up in front of them and it failed again. But Fender has a five year "complete replace" warranty, the shop processed it, and I had a new unit in a week. And it works fine right now. I use it to recordm obviously, something at which it excels.

Anne Rose Blayk"The list of lies it spoke was endless — sometimes almost a boring litany. The major ones I remember were: humans must defend themselves in order to survive and cannot rely on anything other than themselves in their defense; everything is explainable in terms of negative and positive energy (which balance out to be zero), and there is no mystery in the world; love is a thought and has no objective reality; science is whatever one chooses to call science; death is the absolute end to life — there is no more; all humans are motivated primarily by money, and if this appears not to be the case, it is only because they are hypocrites; to compete for money, therefore, is the only intelligent way to live." "Satan can use any human sin or weakness — greed and pride, for instance. It will use any available tactic; seduction, cajolery, flattery, intellectual argument. But its principal weapon is fear. And in the postexorcism period, after its lies had been exposed, it was reduced to haunting both patients with dully repetitive threats: 'We will kill you. We will get you. We will torture you. We will kill you.'" "As well as being the Father of Lies, Satan may be said to be a sprit of mental illness. In The Road Less Traveled I defined mental health as 'an ongoing process of dedication to reality at all costs.' [p.51] Satan is utterly dedicated to opposing that process. In fact, the best definition I have for Satan is that it is a real spirit of unreality." — M. Scott Peck, M.D. — People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil — p. 207 - comment added 2/12/11

Anne Rose Blayk- Virginia A. Stanick - FYI, "COMET" was the name of the Macintosh terminal emulator I developed while at Cornell, and "Stuart Lynn" was the Vice-President of Cornell Information Technologies at Cornell… my boss' boss' boss'? Curiously… in an organization with some 500 employees… his name and photo was in almost every issue of the official "CIT News", published quarterly on a semi-random basis, which would start off with a section "introducing CIT employees", and - hey, there's Stuart again! He's amazing! Such an inspiration to us all! (He was a PhD mathematician who attained Super Manager Cred by working for IBM?) See my scan of the "Celebrating CIT 1992" T-Shirt for some Bonze-style disgruntlement, accompanied by -downright astonishment- at how perceptive my co-workers could be! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150974864222954&set=a.477650022953.261932.707147953&type=3&theater At any rate… it was really beyond weird to find the Comet* Cleaners right next to my first workplace. Was it Fate? Or a mere coincidence? Yeah, it's just another spooky coincidence, but I'm trying to maximize the traction I get out of all of the "spooky coincidences that seem like they're meaningful!" I have accumulated? (It's a bunch, actually!)

Virginia A. StanickWow, and (to put it simply)...remarkably or not, I've had very parallel experiences in the "non-profiteering" sector. Getting past that and thankful for ART as some kind of anchor to peace and insanity-prevention...

Anne Rose Blayk- Sooo… a highly-skilled cognitive neuroscientist and Cosmicist doing ART, like, is this research for Mary Kay? (ducks) Oh, "ART" sounds interesting, I'd love to hear what you're doing! We ought to chat sometime! It would doubtless be pretty droll (although my own story just goes on and on and on - it's deeply "postmoderne"?)
Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 9:14pm EDT
Virginia A. StanickYeah, "Mary Kay"...I'll volunteer to overlook that...Some of us got "derailed" before we even knew where the rails were... But be all that as it may, live and learn (and better to be "droll" than many other possibilities)...

Anne Rose Blayk- "Derailment"? My specialty! And sorry about that one, but… it was like a sucker pitch for this comedienne (that's how I identify these days?). Well, I was always living off the rails, following hidden trails cross-country, as it were; then, railroaded was I… and the train wreck is become quite the awesome spectacle. (Choosing the tense here is problematic?) So are you doing mostly photography? This album of yours has some excellent works in it! √ … very nice! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150533273818113.389191.668738112&type=3

Anne Rose Blayk- A year after I posted this, my mother would once again complain to me… "You're a SKUNK!" - and then for the first time, elaborate: "Like that character in Pogo… Miss… Miss…" "Miss Mam'selle Hepzibah, Mom! I used that as my Profile Photo on Facebook!"" ZUT ALOURS! … and I had always hated that "You're a SKUNK!" label, when she used it as a criticism… but tell me, what's wrong with being intrinsically incomprehensible, when no-one speaks your language? Is that a crime? PS: The character was based on Walt Kelly's mistress, just FYI.

Where is my Higher Power? And in a flash of inner light the realization burned through clear to my bones GEAR IS MY HIGHER POWER
